Changes and Such

Hello Clickers,

For those of you have been to my blog before, you might've noticed a few changes on my blog.
You know...
The name, the background, and basically everything else.

Don't fret.
I will still do... Whatever I've been doing that keeps you guys coming back here.

It's hard for me to explain what's happening with my blog.
Think of my blog as a child. When I started back in 2011, it was a newborn child trying to find its footing.  Now, in 2015, my blog is going through puberty. There are some big changes coming and you should be there to see it.

Mistakes

Alright guys,
It's time for a little heart to heart.
No matter how clever or flawless you think you are.. you're not.
You have to realize that you make mistakes too.
Sometimes you have to humble yourself and realize that you are not the best person in the world.
One of the best ways to get through life is to not talk about other people.
I found out about that first hand.
People find out about things in the strangest of ways.
When you talk about people sometimes you feel like you won't feel bad if they found out...
Depending on the type of person you are and who you are talking about.
I am the type of person who feels bad deep down and this person didn't really do much wrong.
I just got irritated easily by them.
Now they know..
And now it's awkward.
Moral of the story: Humble yourself and don't talk about other people.

The Tales of a Broke College Student

Hello internet, 

As you might have guessed, yes, I am adjusting to the college life. "Jae, does that mean you're partying and going buck wild?!"

No. 

I have come to realize that the party life isn't a lifestyle I want or need. I have found myself to be the "sleep all day and work all night" kind of student. I mean, it's currently 1:07 am as I type this post out. 

To be honest, I haven't been on my A-game recently but, I would say that was just me having a bad month. 

I am going to be giving 6 tips to "the soon to be" or "already" college students. 

1. The Dollar store is life.

Trust me when I say this. You can find so many useful things in the dollar store that would cost a fortune anywhere else. Notebooks? Pens and pencils? White-out? The Dollar has it. They also have snacks, drinks, and daily hygiene products.

2. Purdue Owl

This site can help inform you on MLA, APA, and any other crazy formatting English teachers will make you do.

3. Grammarly

This site has helped me write so many papers. It checks for grammar, spelling, and plagiarism. One of the best websites on the internet.

5. Exercise.. Really.. Just Do It..

Honestly the freshman (insert year here) exists. All of that newfound freedom leads to overeating or eating foods that are horrible for your body. Try to exercise at least twice a week. It is worth it. 

6. Don't lose sight of your goal.

It is easy to get caught up in the social life your first year. The new places, different people, more freedom in classes. You should remember why you came to college in the first place. Whether it be to find the perfect job or to further your education. When you think about it, it can be a bit overwhelming and it will take a bit of time to become... well, whelmed.

So, new beginings??

Hello internet and welcome to the newest version of my blog,

Say goodbye to the old layout and hello to the new and improved layout.
And that's not all
Did you notice anything different with the main title?
That's right a brand new title, which hasn't been thought of yet because I'm not creative, but its still different.
I found that after taking a 2 or 3 year hiatus now might be a good time to start back on a blogging path. This time I'm gonna do it right.

But I've come across a dilemma... WHAT AM I GONNA BLOG ABOUT???
You see, I've been thinking on this for several minutes and I've drawn a blank.
Should continue on my book reviews?
-but that's what I did before and it wouldn't really be a new  beginning
Maybe I should talk about my life?
-this is a possibility but I would have to be careful.
What if I critiqued clothing?
-who am I kidding? I'm a fashion disaster
Maybe it can be a "Ask Jae" type of thing where my followers or anyone in general asks me for advice?
-this would be a great idea if I had more than 2 followers.
Current events?
-..Well, it could be my view on what's happening in the world, that could make it interesting. Then again, who wants to hear about the social injustice that plagues this world?

Well I think this is a start and that's something.
