Bo taped his first of two Comedy Central specials four days after his 18th birthday, making him the youngest to do so in the channel's history. Now Bo is a rising star in the comedy world, revered for his utterly original and intelligent voice. And, he can SIIIIIIIIING!

In EGGHEAD, Bo brings his brand of brainy, emotional comedy to the page in the form of off-kilter poems, thoughts, and more. Review:

I will be honest with you guys and say that my review of this book is totally biased. I love Bo Burnham's work as a comedian, writer, and actor. When I found out that he had written a book I bought it and instantly fell in love with the poems. Please be aware that if you purchase this book, there is material that is unsuitable for children throughout the book.

Egghead is a poetry book that takes you through so many emotions but is still able to leave you laughing.
Throughout this book, there were a plethora of hilarious poems. Most of them were crass but, when you kept reading you would find the ones that talked of love as if the author had found the girl of his dreams. On the other hand, you found poems that were haunting and brutal. Poems that would make you rethink your view on love, life, and death. I loved the endless wit embedded in each poem. This book was like a forest that you could get lost in for hours. There were so many poems to analyze for a deeper meaning or read for pure enjoyment. The poems had great form, they were carefully written and craftily structured. This book was very visual, both with the illustrations and the poems. The creativity in this book was infectious. It will make you forget about the days in middle school and high school where you had to painfully write 10 stanzas of poetry and want to write out sonnets dedicated to old teachers and funny memories. My favorite poem within the book is called "Perfect", it's sweet and simple. Since I don't want to ruin it for you, I'm not going to tell you guys what it's about, I want you read the book and see just how amazing it really is.
I recommend this book for people who enjoy poetry, comedy, love and abstract thoughts. I also would say it is for the 17 and up crowd.
